We are looking for an experienced Boner / butcher initially part time ( may lead to fulltime) for our small team working from our BRCgS accredited factory in Castlebar. The role is to process full pork carcasses into primal cuts and retail joints. Excellent attention to detail is a necessary requirement. Experience in sausage and burger making would also be an advantage.

As we are a small team, we require a real all rounder who is happy to carry out other duties as would be expected in a meat processing factory.

Food Safety HACCP level 1 and 2 would be beneficial along with a good working knowledge of HACCP principles. ( However on site Food Safety training will be implemented prior to commencement of employment)

A good understanding of the English language both verbally and written is required to enable you to process customer orders

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: €15.00-€20.00 per hour
