Description:
Your new day’s work at a glance
Work in a fast‑paced, cold‑chain production environment where safety, hygiene and quality come first, keeping product moving on the line to meet daily targets.
Use your knife skills and teamwork to help deliver consistent, high‑quality beef for local and international customers.
Boner: Bone beef carcases on the chain and break primals to spec while maintaining yield.
Slicer: Trim and slice primals and sub‑primals to weight and presentation standards.
Halal slaughterperson: Perform halal slaughter in line with animal welfare and plant standards.
Skills and Experiences:
Skills and experience
You have worked as a meat boner, slicer or slaughterperson before.
You can use a knife safely, keep it sharp and work at line speed.
You know beef cuts or slaughter steps and can follow set work instructions.
You are physically fit and can do hands‑on work in a cold, fast‑moving plant.
You come to work on time, work well in a team and follow safety rules.
For halal slaughter roles: you are a practising Muslim and have, or can get, halal slaughter accreditation recognised in Australia.
