Booking Administrator – Child, Youth & Family Mental Health Service
  • Fixed Term (1 Year)
  • Full-time (40 hrs per week)
  • Based in North Shore or Waitakere sites

The Child, Youth and Family Mental Health portfolio include two Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMHS) teams, Infant Mental Health, Maternal Mental Health, Eating Disorder Liaison and Early Psychosis Intervention Services.
We have a fantastic opportunity to join the Child, Youth & Family Mental Health Service (CY&F MHS) to work alongside the Operations Manager and Service Clinical Director.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly organised and self-motivated booking administrator who is seeking an exciting dynamic role where you can make a difference. You will responsible for the booking of the Choice and Dr/Nurse appointments in an efficient and effective manner ensuring optimal utilization of available appointment times to meet Te Whatu Ora key performance target.


Essential


Experience in an administration role in the health sector, good spoken and written English, attention to detail, a positive attitude and an ability to multitask are advantageous attributes. Knowledge and skills using the iPM system is preferred, this is not essential as full training will be provided.

  • NCEA Level 3 with Maths and English or equivalent
  • 3 years Health Sector experience with customer service duties or administrative duties
  • Experience in public health Booking, using a Patient Information system
  • Understanding of Windows including Microsoft Outlook and Excel
  • Knowledge and ability to apply the Privacy Act
  • Engagement with Maori and Pacific customers
  • Driver's license

Child, Youth & Family Mental Health is a growing service for the development of an integrated service between primary and secondary mental health care with a focus on creating a more responsive service to children and adolescents referred for moderate to serve mental health issues.
