Beldare Homes is looking for an Accountant/Accounts technician to join their key workforce. This opportunity has potential for the right candidate to expand into a Financial Control role over time. This role will include standard accounting tasks while also providing an opportunity to get involved in other aspects of the business and day-to-day operations.

The company participates in projects throughout the various life cycle stages from conception right through to completion and handover. We are strategically based on the west coast of Ireland and have an extensive pipeline of work in the commercial, education, healthcare, hospitality, and residential sectors. Tasks will include:
- Managing day to day account queries
- Issuing and processing invoices & credit notes
- Preparing payment runs in line with agreed credit and payment terms
- Contacting suppliers and sub-consultants
- Bank administration duties, monitoring available funds, inter-account transfers etc.
- Payroll Preparation
- VAT Returns
- Maintaining budget trackers and forecasts
- Grant applications
- Finance applications
Qualifications:
- Professional level 7 or above accounting-related qualification.
Expectations:
The candidate must be driven and self-motivated. The company has ambitious targets and there are extensive development options for the right candidate over time.
This role will be hybrid with the option to work remotely 1 day a week after a successful initial office period.
Work hours will be Monday to Friday 08:30 to 17:00 with a 1-hour lunch break.
Salary €35,000 - €40,000 DOE.
Construction-related experience is preferred but not essential. Experience in RCT would be advantageous but not necessary. Flexible start date for the right candidate but ideally ASAP.
