We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Bookkeeper and Office Administrator to join our team. This dual-role position is responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions as well as overseeing office operations to ensure the smooth running of the business. The ideal candidate will be proactive, reliable, and able to balance both financial and administrative responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Bookkeeping

  • Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate ledgers.
  • Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and vendor statements.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Prepare and issue invoices; follow up on outstanding payments.
  • Support payroll preparation and employee expense reimbursements.
  • Assist with financial reporting, monthly/quarterly closing, and year-end audits.
  • Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal accounting requirements.

Office Administration

  • Manage correspondence, phone calls, and emails in a timely and professional manner.
  • Coordinate scheduling of meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
  • Maintain employee records and assist with HR-related administrative tasks.
  • Support Office Manager as required.
  • Provide administrative support to management and other departments as needed.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in bookkeeping and office administration (minimum 2–3 years preferred).
  • Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar).
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) or Google Workspace.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and multitask effectively.
  • Discretion in handling confidential information.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
