We are a growing company in Vaughan seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, experience in bookkeeping or accounting, and the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers
- Record day-to-day financial transactions
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Prepare and issue invoices
- Assist with payroll processing
- Support month-end and year-end closing
- Generate financial reports as needed
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
Qualifications:
- Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience (1–3 years preferred)
- Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and MS Office Suite
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Schedule & Pay:
- Monday to Friday (flexible hours may be available)
- Competitive hourly wage or salary (based on experience)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00-$26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Work Location: In person
