About the Role:

We are hiring an experienced and NCCCO-certified Boom Truck Operator to join our team. You’ll operate boom trucks to transport and lift materials at construction sites throughout the Greater Boston area.

This position is ideal for a dependable, safety-focused professional who wants consistent work with a strong, supportive crew.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate boom truck to load, transport, and precisely place materials such as scaffolding, precast, steel, or equipment
  • Conduct daily pre-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
  • Perform safe rigging and load securement
  • Follow lift plans and safety protocols in line with OSHA and NCCCO standards
  • Communicate clearly with signalers, ground crew, and site supervisors
  • Complete delivery logs, lift documentation, and reports
  • Safely drive to and from job sites using a company boom truck

Requirements:

  • Valid Massachusetts Hoisting License – Class 1B (Required)
  • Valid CDL Class B License (Required)
  • Current NCCCO Certification (Required – TSS, STC, or equivalent)
  • Minimum 2 years of boom truck or mobile crane operation experience
  • Familiarity with rigging, signaling, and material handling procedures
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification preferred
  • Clean driving record and reliable transportation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
