Job Overview

Location: Moose Jaw

SaskBattery is part of the largest independent battery company in Western Canada with 13 locations.

We are seeking an energetic and experienced Manager to lead our team in Moose Jaw, oversee daily operations, drive sales growth, and build lasting customer relationships.

The Manager is responsible for the overall performance of the store, including sales, customer service, inventory management, employee development, and operational excellence.

This is an exciting opportunity to influence the success of our battery business through strategic planning, team development, and operational excellence.

This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with rotating Saturday shifts from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. paid at overtime rates.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, coach, and motivate store employees.
  • Recruit, train, and develop team members.
  • Manage employee schedules and performance.
  • Foster a positive, safe, and productive work environment.

Sales & Customer Service

  • Drive retail and wholesale sales growth.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Ensure outstanding customer service and product knowledge.
  • Identify new business opportunities within the local market.
  • Handle customer concerns professionally and effectively.

Operations & Inventory

  • Manage inventory levels and stock replenishment.
  • Monitor inventory accuracy and minimize shrinkage.
  • Coordinate product ordering and receiving.
  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and recycling of batteries.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment.

Financial Management

  • Monitor store profitability and sales performance.
  • Assist with budgeting and expense control.
  • Review sales reports and key performance metrics.
  • Ensure accurate cash handling and administrative procedures.

Compensation

  • $75,000.00 per year
