About the role
An exciting opportunity has become available working on category leading pharmacy brands. You will be responsible for developing and launching new products and creating and implementing a successful strategic direction. You will own and drive NPD, marketing and advertising initiatives, sales strategies, production decisions and liaise closely with our sales, supply and management teams.
Key responsibilities:
Drive the strategic direction of the brand
Manage and drive subordinates in reaching their goals and responsibilities
Manage A&P Spend and activities including Media
Drive brand direction through the internal sales force
Prepare and attend State Based Group/Key Account presentations
Think outside the box to find new opportunities to grow the brand
Ensure profit targets are achieved and additional plans to drive profit are executed
Ensure competitiveness of the brand with external competition via our own marketing mix
Train/liaise with PharmaCare Sales team
Ensure compliance of all company policies and procedures
Skills and Experiences:
About you
Degree qualified in a relevant marketing or business-related discipline, with a minimum of 3-5 years' experience within the FMCG, Food industry/Pharmacy OTC or complimentary medicine environment.
Minimum 2-3 years as an Assistant Brand Manager or similar.
Excellent organisation and project management skills, must be able to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Solid communication and rapport building skills
Digital experience advantageous
Must be able to demonstrate strong experience of the NPD process – particularly project management
Experience in managing budgets and forecasting
Proven experience in development and execution of marketing and advertising strategies
Experience and involvement with trade shows and all it entails
A strong understanding of market segments, research and market data
A self-starter - must be able to work autonomously and have the drive to grow both portfolios – always looking for and identifying opportunities
Must be passionate about your portfolio
You will have managed successful DTC campaigns including TV and print
A ‘can do attitude’ with the ability to ‘think outside the box’ – to differentiate your brand from competitors
Sound PC skills and intermediate skills in Microsoft applications
