BRAND MANAGER (F/M/X)
The International Paralympic Committee (IPC) offers the position of a full-time
Brand Manager (f/m/x) in an international and multicultural team at the IPC
Headquarters (on-site) in Bonn, Germany, starting as soon as possible.
ABOUT THE IPC
At the IPC, we work as one team, aligned and focused on fulfilling our vision and

Change Starts With Sport, and that the work of the Paralympic Movement is a
catalyst for driving social inclusion and advancing the UN Convention on the
Rights of Persons with Disabilities and the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
The IPC, a purpose-driven non-profit association, is the global governing body of
the Paralympic Movement. We oversee the delivery of the Paralympic Games and
Paralympic Winter Games and serve as International Federation for five Para
sports. We enjoy a positive working relationship with the IPC Governing Board,
members of which are democratically elected every four years by the IPC General
Assembly. Since 1989, we have been creating change through sport with the
Paralympic Games and Paralympic athletes at our core.
The IPC seeks to use the influential global position of the Paralympic Movement
and the growing profile of Para athletes to challenge the stigma attached to
disability and empower social transformation.
ROLE
The IPC Brand Team is part of the Brand & Communications department. We take
care of the brand and identity of the IPC and how it is viewed and perceived in its
pursuit to impact positively in the world. We strive in the mission of finding new
ways to promote the values of the Paralympic Movement.
The Brand Manager (f/m/x) is placed at Level A6 according to our internal
compensation structure. The role is accountable to the Brand Senior Manager and
will be responsible for coordinating and managing the IPC and Paralympic Games’
brand projects and developing and implementing them internally and externally.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage all IPC brand and design functions and assets.
- Coordinate and manage the signoff of the brand assets (both internal and
- Maintain proactive interdepartmental communication within the
organisation and with our Members (National Paralympic Committees,
International Federations, International Organisations of Sport for the
Disabled and Regional Organisations).
- Collaborate with the Paralympic Games Organising Committees to oversee
to final delivery, including responsibility for IPC Torchbearers and all
internal logistics.
- Support the Brand Senior Manager in all Paralympic Games Brand, Image
matters.
- Administrate the Brand inbox.
- Keep strong awareness of the IPC brand benchmarks across all media.
- Perform other duties as requested.
CORE REQUIREMENTS
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in brand and/or marketing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Brand, Marketing, Design and/or a relevant field.
- Knowledge and experience in managing brands; experience with sport
- Experience in the use of Adobe applications (such as Photoshop, Illustrator,
- Has a passion for sports and the Paralympic Movement.
- Proven leadership and management skills, with a strong strategic mindset.
- Proactivity and passion for developing the IPC brand.
- Excellent and effective communication skills, both written and oral, in
English. Additional languages are a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills enabling effective cross-department
members on brand-related matters.
- Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced, multicultural, multi-tasking
supervision.
- Excellent attention to detail, strategic thinking, creativity, curiosity, strong
- Flexibility to work outside standard working hours depending on the time
occasional travel during Games time.
DESIRED REQUIREMENTS
- Experience working in sport events will be an advantage.
- Experience with digital content tools is a plus.
- Knowledge of the IPC Brand is a plus.
