Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Food and Beverage Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure food safety standards are maintained, and create a welcoming environment for all patrons. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and assisting guests with their dining experience in a fast-paced restaurant setting.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
• Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation standards are met
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas in compliance with food safety regulations
• Assist in food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed to support smooth operations
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
• Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly and professionally
• Follow all sanitation, health, and safety guidelines related to food handling and service

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred but not required
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and basic math for transactions
• Experience with food handling, serving, and food industry operations is advantageous
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
• Kitchen experience or hospitality background is beneficial for understanding overall restaurant operations
