General Operative – 9 White Deer Brewery
Ballyvourney, Co. Cork

We are seeking a General Operative to join our team at 9 White Deer Brewery. The role is primarily based at the brewery (20 minutes from Killarney, 45 minutes from Cork City on the N22), with some off-site work maintaining our equipment in customer bars.

Key Responsibilities:

• Keg preparation, filling, and handling
• Operating and assisting on the bottling line as part of the packaging team
• Routine cleaning of plant, equipment, and work areas (a vital part of food production)
• Supporting off-site service and maintenance of equipment in bars
• Assisting with general brewery operations, with opportunities to learn the brewing process

Requirements:

• Over 25 years of age with a full, clean Irish/EU driving licence (for insurance purposes and off-site work)
• Physically fit and able to work in a sometimes noisy environment
• Some technical or mechanical experience (e.g., equipment, machinery, or similar)
• Fluent English (spoken and written)
• Fast learner with good attention to detail
• Conscientious, reliable, and a team player
• Willingness to work both on site and occasionally off site

Pay: €29,000.00 per year
