The Headend Engineer will be responsible for the day-to-day technical operations and maintenance of the headend systems to ensure uninterrupted broadcast and signal delivery. Key responsibilities include:

  • Satellite Dish Management - Installation, alignment, and maintenance of satellite dishes to ensure optimal signal reception.
  • Receiver Configuration and Maintenance - Setup, monitoring, and troubleshooting of satellite and broadcast receivers.
  • Multiplexer (MUX) Operations - Configuration and management of MUX systems for effective channel combining and bandwidth utilization.
  • QAM (Quadrature Amplitude Modulation) Configuration - Operation and maintenance of QAM modulators for digital signal transmission.
  • IF (Intermediate Frequency) Distribution - Managing IF signal distribution across various systems in the headend.
  • Pay Channel Box Handling - Configuration and periodic maintenance of pay channel decoders/boxes.
  • PSI/SI Table Management -Monitoring and updating of Program Specific Information (PSI) and Service Information (SI) tables for accurate program listing and signal decoding.
  • Transport Stream (TS) Playout - Supervision of TS playout systems ensuring smooth and synchronized content transmission.
  • Physical Monitoring of Set-Top Boxes (STBs) - Regular inspection and performance tracking of all deployed STBs.
  • CAS (Conditional Access System) Dashboard Monitoring - Real-time monitoring of CAS dashboards to ensure subscriber access control and security.
  • Entitlement & De-entitlement Activities - Performing entitlement and de-entitlement functions periodically as per operational

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
