Bubble Developer

We are seeking a skilled Bubble developer with a solid portfolio who had hands-on OpenAI API experience.

Core Skills for Bubble Development

• Proficiency in designing and building apps using Bubble's no-code/low-code platform.
• Strong understanding of Bubble's features, including Workflows, Database design, Repeating groups, API Connector plugins, Custom states and dynamic expressions, and Responsive design.
• Understanding of relational data modeling and efficient queries.

API Integration

• Hands-on experience using the API Connector plugin in Bubble.
• Familiarity with configuring RESTful APIs, including Making POST/GET requests and handling responses, Parsing and storing API data into Bubble's database.
• Debugging API errors using tools like Postman or Bubble's built-in API debugger.

Experience with OpenAI API

• Knowledge of OpenAI's GPT models (e.g., ChatGPT, GPT-4).
• Familiarity with parameters like:
• model, temperature, max_tokens, and messages.
• Ability to handle dynamic user inputs and integrate them into OpenAI prompts.
• Understanding of token limits and how to optimize inputs to stay within constraints.

Supplementary Technical Skills

• Basic JavaScript Knowledge, having some knowledge of JavaScript can help for custom integrations or edge cases.

Soft Skills

Problem-Solving Ability

• Can handle ambiguous requirements and translate them into actionable technical tasks.
• Experience troubleshooting Bubble workflows and API integrations.

Communication

• Strong ability to communicate technical details in simple terms.
• Experience collaborating with non-technical stakeholders.

Experience Required

• Bubble Portfolio: Bubble projects, especially those involving complex workflows and third-party integrations.
• OpenAI Integration: Experience integrating OpenAI's API into apps or workflows.

Job Type: Contract

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week

Compensation Package:

• 1099 contract
