Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Budtender to support day-to-day retail operations in-store. This role requires professionalism, strong product knowledge, and the ability to work independently while delivering an excellent customer experience. The Budtender is responsible for assisting customers, maintaining compliance with provincial regulations, and ensuring the store remains clean, organized, and welcoming.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Sales

• Greet customers and ensure compliance with age-verification requirements (19+)
• Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide accurate product information
• Assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions
• Process sales transactions and online orders using the point-of-sale system

Compliance & Operations

• Ensure compliance with all provincial regulations and company policies related to cannabis retail
• Follow store procedures for product handling, inventory, and cash management
• Complete assigned operational tasks as directed by management

Store Maintenance

• Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards
• Restock products and ensure displays are properly maintained
• Work independently as required

Work Environment & Schedule

• Retail store environment
• Shifts are typically up to 8 hours
• Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required based on business needs

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum age requirement: 19 years
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and follow established procedures
• Previous retail or customer service experience is an asset
• CannSell certification (required upon offer of employment)
• Successful completion of a criminal background check dated within the past 3 months
