Buffet Attendant (Full-Time) – Chinese Buffet Restaurant

We are looking for a reliable and energetic Buffet Attendant to join our team full-time. Chinese-speaking candidates are strongly preferred, as communication with kitchen staff is an important part of the role.

Responsibilities:

• Keep buffet stations clean, organized, and fully stocked at all times.
• Monitor food levels and promptly inform chefs when dishes need to be replenished.
• Ensure buffet presentation remains attractive and inviting throughout service.
• Maintain cleanliness around buffet counters, serving utensils, and guest areas.
• Assist customers by identifying and explaining buffet dishes when needed.
• Prepare and package takeout orders.
• Clearly identify and announce dish names for takeout customers to ensure order accuracy.
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
• Work closely with kitchen and front-of-house staff to provide excellent customer service.

Requirements:

• Chinese language skills (Mandarin and/or Cantonese) preferred.
• Friendly and customer-service oriented.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and organization.
• Reliable, punctual, and a team player.
• Previous restaurant or buffet experience is an asset but not required.
