We, Auckland Build and Reno Ltd are currently seeking to hire reliable and hardworking Builder Assistants to join our team in Auckland. We mostly work on residential new builds and renovations. The job duties will include:
- Coordinate with the supervisor to determine materials required, dimensions and installation procedures.
- Assistant in selection of correct materials.
- Prepare and ensure accurate layouts
- Measure and cut materials to right size and shape.
- Erect frames and roof framing, lay foundations, sub-floor and floorboards.
- Assist in installing interior and exterior cladding.
- Assist in installing staircases, windows and doors.
- Other relevant tasks required to meet the role’s requirements.
The candidate will be required to work at least 30 hours per week and be paid between $24 to $27 per hour.

- Ability to consistently work at a high capacity
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Ability to juggle and prioritize jobs
- Ability to build quick rapport with customers
- Available to work on weekends
- Collaborative team player
- Physically fit
- Hardworking and passionate
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $24.00 – $27.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
Work Location: In person
