Job Summary
This is a Sudbury position. We are seeking a reliable, experienced, and hands-on Building Maintenance Professional to join our team and to oversee the maintenance and repair operations of several residential and commercial buildings. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the functionality, safety, and aesthetics of our facilities.
This role requires a self-starter with strong problem-solving skills, technical expertise, capable of managing routine tasks and emergency repairs efficiently and professionally.
Duties
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on building systems including minor electrical, mechanical, and plumbing.
- Manage maintenance projects from inception to completion, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
- Fabricate and repair components as necessary to maintain facility operations.
- Seasonal maintenance at each property - lawn care/plowing/etc
- Supervise Utility Providers/Contractors and coordinate their activities to ensure efficient workflow.
- Communicate effectively in English with team members regarding maintenance needs and project updates.
Qualifications
- Proven knowledge with hands-on experience in building maintenance.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair minor electrical and plumbing systems, while sourcing out more difficult jobs.
- Ability to discern when a task requires the expertise of a professional contractor
- Experience in project management, demonstrating the ability to oversee multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- A proactive approach to maintaining facilities and ensuring safety standards are upheld.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
Additional pay:
- Overtime pay

- French not required
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Work Location: In person
