Building Service Worker III (THIS IS A HOUSEKEEPING POSITION THAT INVOLVES EXTENSIVE BUILDING CLEANING , FLOOR MAINTENANCE, HEAVY LIFTING IS REQUIRED TO PICK UP SOILED LINEN, and SNOW REMOVAL, CLEARING OF WALKWAYS DURING INCLEMENT WEATHER). PLEASE READ DETAILS BELOW BEFORE APPLYING.

**Paid 40 hour workweek includes paid meal periods and breaks

Applications are now being accepted to fill one (1) full-time position on the 3pm - 11 pm shift for Building Service Worker III at the Valley View Center for Nursing Care & Rehabilitation of the Orange County Department of Residential Health Care Services.

This is routine and repetitive manual work calling for the efficient and economical performance of building cleaning and occasional minor maintenance tasks. Cleaning tasks are performed according to a well-established procedure, and maintenance tasks are performed under direct supervision or according to specific instructions. Direct supervision is received from a Building Service Supervisor or other superior. Does related work as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Must have 6 months paid work experience to have included building cleaning.

Full Time Salary $21.1316

CIVIL SERVICE EXAMINATION IS NOT A REQUIREMENT FOR APPOINTMENT

The successful candidate will be subject a Criminal History Record Check.
