University Career Services is seeking a high-energy, organized, and detail-oriented Business Affairs Coordinator to join our dynamic team in support of this mission. The Business Affairs Coordinator reports to the Business Manager II and provides exceptional customer service to the GSU community, prospective employers, and the public. In addition to providing professional administrative support to UCS staff as the coordinator of the daily operational and administrative functions for University Career Services offices. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, initiative, and a passion for working with college students and prospective employers.

HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Oversees physical office managing requests for facilities, property control, and telecommunications within and outside the University
  • Manage general office communications (telephones, phones, mail and email)
  • Manage inventory and office supplies
  • Processes and coordinates calendar requests
  • Assist with event coordination and set-up from other departments
  • Review invoices for accuracy and process departmental payment request using Panthermart
  • Maintain departmental files and records
  • Attend and participate in departmental meetings and events and may serve on assigned committees
  • Supervise and coordinates the work and schedule of student assistants

Qualifications:

Minimum Hiring Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree and two years of business management experience; or a combination of education and related experience.

Preferred Hiring Qualifications:

Experience in Higher Education
