Position Overview

Insignia Software is seeking experienced and detail-oriented Business Analysts to lead researching requirements, documenting processes, and coordinating with stakeholders for the development of enterprise products at Insignia Software.

The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders, developers, project managers, and end users to analyze business processes, document functional and technical requirements, and help ensure successful implementation of scalable education management solutions.

This position is fully onsite and requires close collaboration with development and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and document business, functional, and technical requirements for LMS and fee management projects
• Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and discovery sessions
• Analyze existing workflows and recommend process improvements
• Create detailed requirement specifications, use cases, workflows, process diagrams, and user stories
• Work closely with software developers, UI/UX designers, QA teams, and project managers
• Assist in defining system architecture requirements and integration needs
• Coordinate testing activities including User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Assist with implementation planning, training documentation, and deployment activities
• Ensure project documentation is complete and maintained throughout the project lifecycle
• Support change management and user adoption initiatives

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical & Business Skills

1. Strong experience documenting software requirements and business processes

2. Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies

3. Experience creating:

• Business Requirement Documents (BRD)
• Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS)
• User stories
• Process flow diagrams
• Wireframes and workflows

4.Experience with Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall project methodologies

5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

6. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

7. Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in:
• Computer Science
• Business Administration
• Software Engineering
• Or related field

Experience Requirements

1. Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in software development projects

2. Proven experience gathering and documenting requirements for enterprise applications

3. Experience participating in full project lifecycle implementations

4. Experience working directly with developers and technical teams

5. Prior experience in education technology or financial systems is highly desirable

Salary and benefits:
