Business Analyst

Jetfly is a shared business aviation company based in Luxembourg Airport on behalf of 450 co-owners. Our fleet is composed of 60 Pilatus aircraft (PC-12 and PC-24). The Pilatus has come to exemplify the unique combination of Swiss engineering and dedicated craftsmanship, yielding a superior flight, passenger and operator experience that is truly beyond comparison.

As we are going through a significant growth period, we are looking for a Business Analyst to join our Strategy & Transformation department. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for reevaluating and streamlining our internal processes and systems across all key business functions. Your work will lay the foundation for our future software evolution, Data/BI initiatives, and potential make-or-buy decisions, helping us scale efficiently and sustainably.

We are looking for someone capable of bringing structure, clarity, and a holistic view to this transformation — someone who can confidently engage with senior stakeholders and lead cross-functional analysis in a methodical and impactful way.

Responsibilities:

• Map and document current business processes across departments (AS-IS), using clear visual models.

• Lead cross-functional workshops to identify pain points, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.

• Design optimized future-state workflows (TO-BE) aligned with operational goals.

• Translate business needs into clear and structured functional requirements (user stories, process specs, acceptance criteria).

• Analyze existing systems to identify redundancies, overlaps, and opportunities for consolidation or outsourcing.

• Support strategic decisions on internal software redevelopment vs third-party solutions (Make or Buy analysis).

• Support adoption of process and system changes by aligning and guiding key stakeholders.

• Help define KPIs to measure the impact of process improvements.

• Maintain clear and organized documentation of processes, business logic, and requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• Fluent in English and French; any other language is a plus.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, or similar role.

• Strong skills in process mapping and business analysis techniques (e.g. BPMN, Lean, VSM).

• Familiarity with UML (Use Case Diagrams, Activity Diagrams, etc.) or equivalent modeling tools.

• Demonstrated ability to bring structure and clarity to complex business contexts.

• Experience conducting system analysis across multiple platforms and recommending optimization or consolidation strategies.

• Excellent communication skills, especially when engaging with senior stakeholders (directors, heads of department, etc.).

• Strong analytical mindset, autonomy, and structured thinking.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in aviation, logistics, or other operationally complex environments.

• Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Power BI) and concepts such as data lakes, data pipelines, or data governance.

• Understanding of ERP systems or large-scale operational platforms, and involvement in software modernization or transformation initiatives.
