What are you going to do?

As an IT Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery Manager, you will ensure the resilience and recoverability of the organization’s IT services by understanding Business Impact Analyses (BIA), developing and maintaining IT Business Continuity (BCM) and Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies, and coordinating technical recovery tests across infrastructure, applications, and cloud environments.

You will report to the Chief of Staff.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Business Impact Analysis (BIA)

    • Ensure that assessment of the criticality of the IT systems, applications, and data in support of business processes are properly done.

    • Ensure system availability requirements, Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPO) are properly defined.

  • IT Continuity & Disaster Recovery (BCM/DR)

    • Design, implement, and maintain IT Disaster Recovery Plans (DRP) in alignment with business requirements and SG group policies and guidelines.

    • Define and manage recovery strategies for datacenters, networks, servers, storage, and cloud services in collaboration with IT teams (application, infrastructure).

    • Ensure backup and replication strategies are effective and regularly tested.

    • Coordinate with IT Application teams to ensure resilience including cyber resilience across technology stack.

  • Disaster Recovery Testing (DR Test)

    • Plan, organize, and execute regular disaster recovery tests (technical failover, cloud recovery, data restore, etc.).

    • Validate system and application recovery procedures end-to-end.

    • Document results, identify gaps, and drive remediation plans.

  • Governance, Compliance & Security

    • Ensure compliance with SG Group.

    • Provide management with dashboards and reports on IT resilience readiness.

    • Integrate DR and BCM with cybersecurity incident response and crisis management processes.

We are looking for a seasoned business continuity management professional with a strong understanding of enterprise critical activities, IT continuity and disaster recovery tests in a technology-driven environment.

Job requirements:

  • Education: Master’s degree in information security, risk management, information systems, or related field.

  • Experience: 10–15 years of experience in risk management, BCM, IT continuity, or security auditing and a significant experience in BCM.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Strong knowledge of BIA, BCP/DRP, and disaster recovery testing methodologies.

    • Solid understanding of IT environments (systems, networks, cloud).

    • Familiarity with ISO 22301, ISO 27001, and ITIL frameworks.

  • Soft Skills:

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

    • Organized, rigorous, and able to work autonomously.

    • Training, facilitation, and change management capabilities.
