Are you passionate about driving financial performance and enabling strategic decision-making in a dynamic environment? We are looking for a proactive and analytical Business Controller to join our IT & Centralized functions Finance team and play a key role in shaping the financial future of KONE’s globally centralized function operations.

The position is based in Espoo, Finland, and we offer a hybrid working model.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

• As a Business Controller, you will be a trusted partner to centralized functions senior leadership, providing financial insights, analysis, and support to ensure optimal resource allocation and cost efficiency.
• Acting as a financial advisor to IT and other centralized functions, supporting budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
• Monitoring and analyzing cost structures, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Hands-on work on month-end closing activities
• Preparing monthly reports, variance analyses, and performance reviews for senior management.
• Develop ways of working of shared service centers & partners (i.e. P2P process)
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and reporting tools.
• Ensuring compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and corporate policies.

What We’re Looking For:

• A Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or a related financial discipline.
• A minimum of 5 years of solid professional experience in business controlling and finance business partnering, preferably within IT or technology-driven environments.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and reporting.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to speak up and challenge the business with well-rounded arguments
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft tools and BI tools, along with a willingness to explore and adopt new tools. Proficiency in SAP is considered as a strong asset.
• A proactive mindset with a drive for continuous improvement and innovation.
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
