About the Role

We are looking for a Business Development Executive (BDE) to join our growing team in Ontario! This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated, results-driven professional to drive new business opportunities, maintain strong client relationships, and support company growth.

What You’ll Do

Market Research & Competitor Analysis: To uncover new opportunities, stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitors.

Prospect & Generate Leads: Identify potential clients through research, outreach, and networking.

Outbound Sales Outreach: Engage prospects via cold calls, emails, and social media to introduce MembersHealth’s services.

Qualify Leads: Assess client needs and determine whether they align with our healthcare solutions.

Sales Presentations & Proposals: Work with your Regional Sales Director to deliver compelling sales presentations tailored to client needs, highlighting product features, advantages, and benefits.

Negotiation & Closing Deals: Work closely with the Regional Sales Director and clients to negotiate terms and close sales while ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Sales Reporting & CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including client interactions, pipeline development, and revenue forecasts.

Travel & Client Meetings: Conduct on-site meetings and attend industry events to strengthen client relationships and drive sales.

Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to develop outreach strategies and optimize conversion rates.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 2-5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in group insurance, employee family assistance programs, or virtual healthcare industries.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to present complex solutions clearly and build relationships.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel within Canada.

Interview Process:

Our interview process follows this sequence:

  • An email will be sent to successful candidates to arrange a screening assessment.
  • BDE Talent Screening Assessment.
  • A virtual, 60-minute interview with our Regional Director of Business Development: We’d like to know who you are, what your motivations are, and what your past work experience is, and we'd like to tell you more about us and the role.
  • The final interview will consist of a 30-minute discussion with our CEO or Managing Director.
  • A decision is communicated, and if successful, an offer is extended
  • Reference checks
