Position Overview

Scientific Climate Ratings is entering an exciting scale-up phase, and we are looking for a driven and curious intern to join our Business Development team in Paris. You will contribute meaningfully to our commercial growth, working at the intersection of climate risk intelligence and real-world financial markets. This is a hands-on role with genuine responsibility — you will collaborate with experts across research, product, and sales to help bring our unique climate ratings to financial institutions, corporates, and policymakers.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the preparation of reports, presentations, and client communications.
• Assist in the analysis of climate-related data, including physical and transition risks.
• Work on maintaining our competitive landscape analysis up to date
• Participate in commercial campaigns and identify key prospects
• Research emerging trends and regulations in the climate and sustainability sectors.
• Support the business development team at marketing events, including webinars and industry conferences
• Collaborate with the wider team to ensure the quality and accuracy of deliverables.

What You Bring

• Strong interest in climate finance and climate risk, with keen attention to detail and accuracy in data handling
• Dynamic, autonomous, and eager to learn within a fast-paced business development team
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Fluency in English; additional languages are always a plus.
• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a programme in environmental science, sustainability, economics, finance, or a related field
