Business Development Manager (Bdm)

Job description

• Carry out market research and prepare a strategy to develop business in your designated country/region, in the public and private sectors of the Marine, Offshore, and Oil & Gas industries.
• Develop business network, send out company presentation/brochure to potential clients.
• Manage excellent business relations with existing customers and proactively develop new customers.
• Arrange regular meetings (virtual as well as in-person) with customers to present and promote Albion’s capabilities.
• Provide customer feedback to management that will assist in making strategic decisions to grow Albion’s business.
• In consultation with the Commercial Director, set annual (stretched) business targets from existing and new customers.
• Prepare and demonstrate action plans, customer-wide and responsible country-wise, detailing the actions and activities to achieve the set business targets.
• Provide weekly reports on customer engagement status and monthly/quarterly reports of actual sales revenues generated by customers vs set targets.

Requirement

Mandatory - Marine, Shipyard, Oil/Gas Indus Experience

• Degree in Marine Engineering/Naval Architecture or other relevant qualification.
• 7+ years’ experience in Marine, Shipyard or Oil/Gas industry with proven track record of minimum 5+ years business development achievement.
• Proven skills in communication and presentation skills.
• Attention to details and strong analytical skills. Has experience in marine market repair/new building trends and ability to find right areas to enter.
• Prepare, review annual targets with top management and achieve them.
• Participate in roadshows and seminars in the marine industry and present our company to visiting clients.
• Willing to travel
