Business Development Manager – EV Charging Projects (Island of Ireland)

Location: Field-based | Republic of Ireland & Northern Ireland
Type: Full-Time | Permanent

Salary: Competitive base + Bonus (high earning potential, top performers achieving 40–50%)

We’re expanding our EV and energy solutions offering across the Island of Ireland, and we’re looking for a commercially driven Business Development Manager to lead the growth of project-based EV charging and HEMS opportunities.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of a growing EV project pipeline, with real autonomy to shape strategy, build relationships and deliver high-value infrastructure projects in a fast-evolving market.

What you’ll be doing

  • Identify, develop and win commercial EV charging projects (AC & DC)
  • Build strong relationships with CPOs, developers, consultants and contractors
  • Manage the full sales cycle — from early specification through to delivery
  • Drive demand by influencing architects, consultants and design teams
  • Lead tender submissions, proposals and commercial negotiations
  • Collaborate with internal teams (EV Specialists, Sales) to maximise opportunities
  • Provide insight on market trends, competition and growth opportunities

What we’re looking for

We’re particularly interested in candidates who have:

  • Proven experience winning project-based or specification-led sales
  • Strong relationships within contractors, consultants, developers or infrastructure clients
  • Background in one of the following sectors:
  • EV charging / renewables
  • Electrical / M&E / building services
  • Infrastructure or energy solutions
  • A strong understanding of commercial project sales cycles and tender processes
  • Commercial acumen (pipeline growth, margins, ROI)
  • A self-starter mindset with the ability to manage a large territory independently
