About the Role

We are seeking a driven and dynamic Business Development Manager to lead and accelerate sales growth across Greater Brisbane and surrounding regions.

This is a hands-on, field-based role where you will spend most of your time engaging with customers face-to-face, winning new business, strengthening and growing existing accounts, and identifying opportunities to expand Protecta's presence across the region.

Key Responsibilities

Identify, qualify and convert new business opportunities to drive sales growth.
Conduct regular face-to-face customer meetings, product demonstrations, sales presentations and onsite scoping.
Develop and implement customer-specific sales strategies to maximise growth opportunities.
Build, manage and grow existing customer accounts by identifying new opportunities within existing and previous customer relationships.
Maintain a regular customer visitation schedule to strengthen relationships and uncover new opportunities.
Maintain accurate customer, lead, quote and activity records in Numerik and NetSuite, and provide timely sales reporting.
Represent the Protecta brand professionally and deliver exceptional customer service at every interaction.
Achieve and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Skills and Experiences:
What We’re Looking For

Proven experience in business development, field sales, account management, or a similar customer-facing sales role.
A track record of identifying new business opportunities and achieving or exceeding sales targets.
Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to develop long-term partnerships and grow existing customer accounts.
Confident communicator with excellent negotiation, presentation and influencing skills.
Highly self-motivated, organised and capable of managing your own territory and priorities with minimal supervision.
Experience using CRM systems to manage customer relationships, sales activities and opportunities (Numerik and NetSuite experience is highly regarded).
A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively to client sites.
