Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager, Marine Fuel reporting to the Senior Business Development Manager, Filtration Europe. As our Business Development Manager for Marine Fuel, you will shape the future of cleaner, more efficient maritime operations by building strong client relationships, expanding our network across the industry and driving profitable growth in a rapidly evolving market. This role can be based with one of our sites within Europe working Monday to Friday normal office hours.
International travel required.

Duties & Responsibilities (not limited to)
- Being the Marine Fuel Filtration expert in the defined region for the defined market segment
- First filter for bid / no-bid decisions for the market segment and region
- Develop regional marine fuel filtration sales plan aligned with regional budget and global filtration strategy
- Execute plan to exceed sales targets from existing and new customer accounts
- If nominated, manage specific accounts or projects outside regional responsibility
- First point of contact in the Sales & Aftermarket team for marine fuel filtration business development activities
- Joint customer visits with sales representatives to support existing marine fuel filtration business
- Price and contract negotiations in accordance with regional sales and product line guidelines
- Presenting the product range and its technical attributes/benefits at customers, during trade shows and industry conferences as acting regional subject matter expert
- Provide internal training programs in the region on existing Indufil and Seebach filtration products
- Organize marketing and sales enablement material and education for the local sales staff
- Coordinate customer enquiries and preparation of quotations with support when required to the application engineers
- Support the ordering process to the manufacturing sites and handling of complex orders in close cooperation with the central support teams
- Preparation of monthly reports to monitor progress and highlight future opportunities
- Liaison between CoE’s and regional sales and service teams on product line strategic initiatives and New Product Development projects
Qualifications
- Experience within the marine fuel process industry
- Knowledge of marine fuel filtration applications
- Hold a Degree in either Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a similar field
- Extent amount of experience in customer facing roles
- Able to demonstrate ability to quickly establish credibility within the customer base
- Build strong relationships both internally and externally
- Experience of high value tendering and negotiating complex sales would be an advantage.
- Experience of working in a multinational and multicultural environment
