Business Development Representative

Position Overview

As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for managing and expanding our B2B referral network, overseeing the admissions pipeline, and supporting a seamless experience for clients entering and exiting care. This role is key to our continued growth and will work closely with clinical, outreach, and administrative teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, establish, and cultivate referral partnerships with treatment centers, hospitals, clinicians, and community organizations.
  • Drive new admissions through strategic outreach and relationship-building.
  • Oversee the intake and admissions process to ensure a smooth, compassionate experience for clients and families.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all inbound and outbound referrals.
  • Manage and optimize our CRM and call tracking systems to ensure data accuracy and workflow efficiency.
  • Serve as a liaison between external partners, the admissions team, and clinical staff.
  • Represent The Healing Center at networking events, conferences, and professional gatherings.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in business development, referral relations, or client services required—specifically in behavioral health, or substance use treatment.
  • Deep commitment to helping individuals on the path to recovery.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with empathy, clarity, and professionalism.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and call tracking systems (e.g., Salesforce, Dazos, KipuCRM, or similar).
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across departments.
  • Reliable transportation for off-site meetings and networking (if applicable).
