What you can expect


As a Business Development Rep, your purpose is to identify and pursue new business opportunities through research, networking, and outreach. You will be responsible for generating leads, conducting market research, and collaborating with sales teams to increase revenue. Your goal is to build relationships with potential clients and to drive growth for the company through strategic partnerships and sales initiatives.

With a focus on delivering cutting-edge communication solutions for clients across all sectors, the team passionately engages with clientsworldwide. Through strategic partnerships and a customer-centric approach, they play a pivotal role in expanding Zoom's global presence and ensuring businesses harness the full potential of virtual collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Identifying & developing relationships, and schedule meetings with Commercial, Majors and Enterprise level prospect accounts

  • Strategizing with Account Executives to target prospect accounts, generate pipeline and improve outbound strategy through regular two way feedback

  • Conducting high-level conversations with C-level and Senior Executives to address their business needs

  • Creating strategic emails and follow up sequences to target prospect accounts

  • Maintaining and updating Salesforce CRM with tasks/activities regularly.

  • Evangelizing Zoom product offerings across territory or named accounts

  • Conducting ongoing research to identify new leads, obtain contact information and begin targeting

  • Achieving quarterly qualified opportunity/meeting and opportunity conversion quotas

What we’re looking for

  • Have experience in outbound sales or prospecting in SaaS and Unified Communication space.

  • Have been successful in engaging new prospects with cold calls, emails and social

  • Have written and verbal skills with a consultative professional business acumen

  • Be detail oriented, tenacious, responsible and self-motivated

  • Demonstrate experience with MS Office, Google Workspace, Outreach, Lusha, LinkedIn SalesNav and ZoomInfo.
