The Role
We have an exciting opportunity to join Origina as our new French Business Development Representative (BDR). The role is the first interaction prospective customers have with Origina and will support our business growth in France. The team is comprised of tenacious, positive and hard-working individuals dedicated to outstanding achievement and success of themselves, the sales team and the company. Origina is looking for self-motivated, flexible, team-oriented and creative sales team member looking to further build their career in sales.
- Tenaciously prospect, qualify and capture leads and opportunities through prospecting via multiple mediums incl. phone, email, and social media
- Create and run independent campaigns with Channel Partners to maximise sales opportunities under guidance from the Territory Manager and Business Development Manager
- Creatively follow up on inbound leads to further peak prospect interest
- Successfully create opportunities within your assigned region
- Partner with senior sales executives in your assigned region in pursuit of driving revenue for the organisation and promotion within the sales team
- Drive attendance to and attend events and tradeshows in partnership with senior sales executives
- Create a steady flow of outbound communications to drive engagement
- Maintain velocity to drive activity, prospective customer engagement and most importantly, revenue
- Build rapport and cultivate relationships with a variety of team members
- Demonstrate consultative sales approach by creating value-based partnerships
- Consistently achieve designated quota
- Build rapport with prospective customers, partners (internal and external) and move the sales process forward
- Work diligently with your team members to share feedback and best practices
About you
- Native French speaker or proficient in French
- Fluent written and verbal English language skills, other European languages are an advantage
- Passport and the ability to travel occasionally
- 1+ years of professional background, preferably in business development, lead generation, outbound calling or equivalent
- Previous experience in conducting research, leveraging social media to qualify leads, driving opportunities and revenue
- Enjoyment working in a collaborative team environment
- Self-motivated and driven for outstanding results with focus on quality and the customer
- Devotion to sales development, achievement and rapidly advancing sales career
- Knowledge of general technology terms & trends is an advantage
- Familiarity with working alongside Channel Partners is a significant advantage
- Ability to be flexible and work in a rapidly changing, collaborative, fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication & social media skills
- Strong multi-tasking, problem solving, and organisational skills
- Solid technical aptitude & business acumen
- Curious, positive and ambitious attitude
- Knowledge of and/or experience with a CRM or content management tracking system
