YOUR MISSION
As a Business Development Representative (BDR) - Product for traders at Kayrros, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our cutting-edge geospatial and data intelligence solutions. Your mission is to act as the first point of contact with potential clients, identifying opportunities, and building strong relationships to expand our reach in the energy, environment, and financial markets.
By contributing to Kayrros’ mission of unlocking actionable insights from complex data, you will help empower organizations to make better-informed decisions about the planet's resources, energy transition, and sustainability challenges.
ABOUT KAYRROS PRODUCTS FOR TRADERS
The energy transition, the energy crisis, climate regulations and the AI boom are creating massive changes and volatility in the EU Gas, Power and Carbon markets.
Publicly available information is often lagged, and has massive gaps: demand, industrial activity, anything happening beyond the EU borders.
The Kayrros products for the EU Gas, Power or Carbon markets provide traders and analysts with the accurate, measured, timely data they need to fill these gaps, feed their balances and make the right trading decisions. Our leading Carbon Watch product is the only tool in the market providing EU ETS traders with an accurate, timely view of industrial demand, months ahead of other sources.
And this is just the beginning, with more game-changing products for the EU. Gas, Power and Carbon markets to come in the next months and years.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Research and target key companies and decision-makers in industries such as energy, finance, and sustainability to build a strong pipeline of potential clients. Continuously maintain, update and extend targeted audiences.
Initiate meaningful conversations with stakeholders through outreach channels like email, phone, LinkedIn, and events to understand their challenges and position Kayrros' solutions effectively.
Assess the needs of potential customers and qualify them for further discussions with the Sales team by understanding how Kayrros' offerings align with their goals.
Continuously nurture targeted audiences to maintain awareness and increase appetite for Kayrros products.
Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to ensure a smooth transition of leads and provide valuable feedback on market trends and customer needs.
Work closely with Growth Marketing to align outreach strategy with marketing campaigns and lead acquisition initiatives.
Maintain accurate records of outreach and client interactions, manage reporting tools, and coordinate with external providers to support operational efficiency.
Act as an ambassador for Kayrros at industry events and meetings, showcasing our expertise in satellite data and geospatial technology.
Create an insightful feedback loop to share customer needs, expectations and objections with internal teams to fuel the product strategy and global positioning of Kayrros’ offering.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Proven success in a sales role (BDR, SDR, Account Executive), preferably within the SaaS industry or in data-driven technology solutions.
Strong understanding of lead generation and prospecting techniques, with experience managing and qualifying inbound and outbound leads.
Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales engagement platforms (e.g. Salesloft)
Experience working with clients in industries such as energy, finance, sustainability, or geospatial technology is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and understand client needs effectively.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, contributing to shared goals and providing feedback on customer insights.
A results-driven mindset with a focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus, particularly French, German, or Spanish.
