We are now recruiting for a
Business Development Specialist
for the R2B project “First-in-Class PARP Inhibitors for Immuno-Oncology” to join our team at the Faculty of Biochemistry and Molecular Medicine for a fixed-term part-time or full-time position depending on experience on 1.9.2026-31.8.2028. The total budget of the project is approximately 1 250 000 Eur.
About the job
The Business Development Specialist will work together in the commercialization team and the Business Champion of the R2B project. In this job, the specialist will contribute, potentially with the help of mentoring the Business Champion, in creating and implementing a commercialization strategy.
- You will create various documentations required for commercialization in the drug development
- You will participate in the early business development activities for the R2B project, including fundraising for the next stages.

Who are you?
In order to succeed and enjoy the position, we expect from you:
- Interest in preclinical and clinical drug development
- Experience of research in biosciences
- Enthusiasm towards business development
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- IT, communication and cooperation skills
Salary
The position is part-time or full time depending on experience for a fixed term of 2 years as of 1.9.2026 or as soon as possible thereafter.
The salary will be based on the level 9-10 of the demand level chart for other expert and support staff of Finnish universities. In addition, a salary component based on personal work performance will be paid (maximum of 50% of the job-specific component). Starting gross salary will be approx. 4000 € per month (before taxes). A trial period of 6 months is applied to the position.
