Role Overview:
We are looking for a highly driven and strategic Business Development Specialist to lead our public and institutional engagement efforts. This role will be central to growing HelloRide’s presence through governmental partnerships, strategic B2B collaborations, and ecosystem engagement. You’ll work directly with the General Manager and cross-functional teams to craft proposals, secure partnerships, and ensure we’re represented in the right conversations at the right time.
Key Responsibilities:
Government & Institutional Relations:
- Liaise with Singapore government agencies (e.g. LTA, SportSG, SLA) on permits, programs, and public event opportunities
- Proactively monitor relevant policy and regulatory developments, ensuring the GM and team are updated
- Assist the GM in representing HelloRide at mobility working groups, industry roundtables, or public forums when required
- Prepare formal documents, proposals, or grant applications in collaboration with internal teams
Strategic Partnerships (B2B & Community):
- Identify, pitch, and execute partnerships with lifestyle, health, F&B, corporate wellness, and real estate partners
- Manage end-to-end execution of partnerships: from lead generation to proposal, negotiation, rollout, and tracking
- Work with the marketing and operations teams to bring partnership initiatives to life on the ground
General:
- Support GM and BD manager with strategic presentations, pipeline updates, or government communications
- Maintain structured records of stakeholders, leads, and outcomes
- Help build HelloRide’s positioning as a responsible, forward-looking mobility brand
- Support ad-hoc commercial and expansion projects as the business grows
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of experience in business development, public affairs, partnerships, or strategy
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills (formal and informal)
- Strong comfort in preparing proposals, decks, and partnership models
- Confident in navigating both government and private sector ecosystems
- Able to work independently and collaboratively, with high attention to detail
- Experience in mobility, urban infrastructure, or sustainability sectors is a bonus
- Bilingual in English and Chinese

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $3,500.00 - $4,500.00 per month
