Business Development Manager – NDIS Services
Location: Sydney, NSW (Hybrid / Field-Based Role)
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Reports To: CEO / Director of Operations
About Care Me Well
Care Me Well is a leading NDIS-registered service provider dedicated to empowering people with disabilities through compassionate, person-centred care.
We deliver a wide range of services including Core Supports, Supported Independent Living (SIL), Short/Medium Term Accommodation (STA/MTA), and Community Participation across New South Wales.
As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to strengthen our presence in the NDIS sector, build meaningful referral partnerships, and drive participant growth across NSW.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the CEO/Director of Operations, the Business Development Manager (BDM) will play a pivotal role in expanding Care Me Well’s service reach.
You will focus on identifying new business opportunities, fostering community relationships, and increasing participant engagement across NSW.
This position suits a proactive professional with a strong understanding of the NDIS landscape and the ability to build trust, develop partnerships, and deliver measurable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic plans to expand participant intake and service reach across NSW.
Build, nurture, and maintain strong relationships with Support Coordinators, Plan Managers, LACs, community organisations, and hospitals.
Identify and secure new business opportunities aligned with company growth objectives.
Represent Care Me Well at community events, expos, and networking sessions to promote services and brand awareness.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to guide marketing and growth strategies.
Prepare business proposals, service agreements, and tailored presentations for referrers and participant families.
Collaborate with intake and operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding and high-quality service delivery.
Provide regular progress reports to the CEO/Director of Operations on growth, referrals, and participant outcomes.
Ensure all engagement and marketing activities comply with NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission requirements.
Support process improvement and service innovation initiatives.
Essential Criteria
Minimum 3 years’ experience in business development, stakeholder engagement, or participant intake within the NDIS or community services sector.
In-depth understanding of NDIS pricing, funding models, and compliance.
Proven success in building referral networks and achieving participant growth targets.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong time management skills with ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in CRM systems, data tracking, and reporting tools.
Current Driver Licence, Police Check, and NDIS Worker Screening Check (or ability to obtain).
Desirable
Tertiary qualifications in Business, Community Services, or Disability Support.
Established network of referral partners within the disability sector.
Experience in SIL, STA, MTA, or community-based supports.
