About the Position
The Business Planning & Service Coordinator is responsible for coordinating business planning and customer experience across all Stirling Leisure Facilities, including Inglewood, Balga, Scarborough Pool, Mirrabooka, Scarborough, Hamersley and Hamersley Public Golf Course. The role involves managing day-to-day operations at one of the seven manned facilities, overseeing financial and human resource management, including budgets and financial reporting. It also includes developing service plans with measurable KPIs to achieve business objectives and enhancing customer service to optimize the customer experience across all facilities.
Key Responsibilities
The duties of the Business Planning & Service Coordinator will include but are not limited to:
- Establishing, business and financial planning, coordination of human and financial resources including budget development and implementation, human resource recruitment, training and performance setting.
- Ensuring the City’s strategic community and corporate intentions, long term financial plan and Stirling Leisure operating principles are integrated within facility business and operating plans.
- Facilitating and coordinating tasks and meetings with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the delivery of services across Stirling Leisure facilities.
About You

- Current Provide First Aid Certificate
- Valid Working with Children Check.
- Tertiary Qualification in Recreation, Leisure, Physical Education, Physiotherapy or Sports Science or demonstrated equivalent competency.
- Current Accreditation with LIWA Aquatics to the satisfaction of the Health Department of Western Australia.
- Demonstrated ability to develop innovative ideas and strategies.
- Understanding of current trends in the recreation and health and fitness industries.
- Marketing and promotional experience in a sport or recreation environment.

This permanent full-time position is a Level 8 Inside Workforce Agreement positions which attract a salary from $106,999.38 gross pro rata per annum plus superannuation.
To be eligible to work for us, you need to provide, or have ability obtain a:
- A copy of Australian Driver’s Licence
- National Police Clearance (valid within the last 3 months).
- Pre-Employment Medical and DAS clearance.
- The right to work in Australia.
