Position Summary
This role is responsible for the comprehensive monitoring of all existing loans and deposit relationship within the business portfolio. Expert skills in relationship management, communication, compliance, and managing risk within the business portfolio are essential to the role. This role is considered a highly producing individual contributor of the Credit Union.

Essential Duties
- Manage existing and potential relationship within the business loan portfolio to ensure risk is regularly identified and mitigated.
- Interview existing business members, structure loans and negotiate terms and conditions.
- Establish and approve debit card limits, credit card limits, overdraft limits and functionality of e-business banking platform for business members.
- Install Remote Deposit Capture for large businesses from initial analysis, approval, system setup, installation at business, training, and ongoing support for the member.
- Review of credit underwriting and risk ratings for consistency to ensure compliance with CCCU's Member Business Loan Policy and NCUA regulations.
- Review of all due diligence documents that support a loan approval to ensure compliance with CCCU's Member Business Loan Policy and NCUA regulations.
- Work collaboratively with accounting on quarterly call reporting requirements to ensure accurate reporting of the business portfolio to the NCUA.
- Regularly call on assigned portfolio members to monitor existing accounts and to promote other CU products and services that may be of benefit to the member.
- Manage the annual review process of gathering financial statements, performing the analysis of financials including business debt service analysis, identify risks, and make recommendations based on analysis.
- Work collaboratively with Member Solutions on recommendations for work out loans and restructures that will minimize losses and protect the assets of the Credit Union.
- Serve as the primary coordinator of SBA financing on behalf of the Credit Union and adhere to all requirements and reporting under the program.
- Complete all Risk Management reporting on behalf of Business Services and present findings at the scheduled Lending Risk Management meetings.
- Compile additional risk management reporting on behalf of Lending as requested by Lending Management.

Oversee and maintain the assigned business portfolio including monthly financial statement and past due payment reports, portfolio exceptions and report to management recommendations to resolve the exceptions.

Education
High School Diploma – General Studies: Required
Bachelor’s Degree: Preferred
Experience
Two to five years of similar or related experience
Skills & Abilities
Ability to read and interpret business financial statements, calculate business cash flow, and complete debt service analysis.
High level of analytical skills
Excellent negotiation skills
Excellent communication and public relations skills
Ability to maintain professional and effective work relationships with other team members
Demonstrated effective member relation skills (friendliness, tact and diplomacy)
Ability to work independently or as a team
Understanding of State and Federal lending regulations
Multi task orientated while demonstrating a high level of flexibility
Ability to plan, organize and monitor activities to priorities
Mental Demands
The team member must be able to read and interpret documents or instruments, understand and/or follow complex written and oral instructions, make decisions, recall multiple policies or procedures, resolve problems or unique circumstances in a timely and efficient manner, be able to express oneself clearly and/or concisely, perform mathematical functions, and handle multiple, concurrent tasks. Must be able to remain calm and professional at all times, understanding that members may express emotional frustration when the credit union cannot meet their specific requests.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
