Role Overview
As a Business Resilience & Regulatory Specialist, you'll be part of the ICT Governance & Outsourcing Management team. In this role, you will help our organization meet the regulatory requirements set forth by regulations such as the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA). This role has great exposure to the leadership team, and is strategically critical in strengthening our operational resilience, ensuring compliance with DORA standards, and safeguarding our organization against potential operational disruptions.
Your mission:
Compliance & framework development. Design and lead the implementation of a comprehensive resilience framework aligned with resilience regulations (e.g., DORA), including regular IT and operational risk assessments to identify risks, vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.
Testing, monitoring, and reporting. Design and implement scenario testing to evaluate operational resilience, run crisis and game-day exercises, monitor preparedness for disruptions; deliver compliance and resilience progress reports to senior management, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
Third-Party risk management. Assist in overseeing vendor and third-party risk management in line with regulatory requirements.
Training & awareness. Educate and train employees on resilience and risk management practices, fostering a culture of preparedness and continuous improvement across the organization.
Your ideal profile:
Regulatory expertise. 4+ years of experience in regulatory requirements around business resilience, risk management, or compliance within a regulated environment, with a strong understanding of frameworks like DORA, NIST, ISO 22301, or ISO 27001.
Regulatory knowledge. Track record of translating regulatory requirements into actionable plans, and tracking those to completion. Desirable certifications include CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or CBCP.
Risk management. Proficient in one or more areas of IT risk, security, third-party risk management, and experience in working in agile working environments.
Agile proficiency. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities through excellent project management, organizational, and analytical skills.
Team collaboration. A collaborative mindset, enjoying teamwork with people from varied backgrounds and perspectives in complex environments.
Communication skills. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to diverse stakeholders effectively. Proficiency in English (both written and verbal) is essential; Italian is a plus.
