Job Description: Basic Function
- Design and architect the front-end application by evaluating and implementing modern frameworks and technologies to ensure high performance, maintainability, and rapid deployment of IPS products.
- On-site coordination with Technical / Product / Scrum Team and help resolve Application Issues
- Work on design, development, quality, and support activities of business applications
- Work with associated teams and business analysts to understand and elaborate the business and functional requirements.
- Collaborate with onshore teams for business and functional requirements, sprint coordination, and other delivery-related requirements.
- Understand, debug, and resolve Application related Issues.
- Build a stronger and highly skilled front-end team while providing technical oversight to the development team, including design and code reviews.
- Experience in managing direct reports consisting of lead engineers working on multiple projects.
- Good Communication and presentation skills
- Vast programming experience in a multi-tier environment using different languages.
- Architecting detailed technical designs as assigned, based on requirements and/or functional designs, and developing web development projects.
- Produce common components, interfaces, classes, functions, web pages, etc., which can be used across the products as a common library.
- Identify Tech Debt and performance improvements by looking into current implementation and work towards implementation.
- Review the code from the other front-end developers and peers and provide feedback.
- Establish and enforce best practices, standards, and methodologies, ensuring consistency and quality across products and initiatives.
- Create complete and accurate technical artifacts, both within the code being created, and externally as input to the documentation team, or in the form of technical whitepapers or other publications.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures applicable to the position, department, division, and larger organization
Responsibilities: Technical Skills
Required Skills
- UI / Scripting Language: Angular (8+), React
- TypeScript, Ngrx, RxJS,
- JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax
- Highly skilled in semantically compliant HTML, CSS, XML, XSD
- Low code forms technologies like Form.io
- PL/SQL, Oracle/ SQL Server (with DDL, DML, and DQL working experience) Writing test cases
Servers Knowledge
- JEE application servers (Apache Felix, Caddy, Glassfish, WebLogic 12+)
- Web servers (IIS, Apache 2.4)
Skills Nice to Have:
- Experience on the following (at least one of the below)
- Maven
- OSGI
- Liquibase Git / GitHub and GitLab, TFS
Process Specific Skills
Delivery Domain
- Working knowledge of Agile, Scrum methodology, success factors, and pitfalls
- Working experience in a multi-tier environment
- Working experience in creating and understanding detailed Technical and Functional design specification Ability to comprehend the business processes and associated Application functionality by reviewing code and consulting with the analyst and operations teams
Business Domain – Insurance (Preferred)
- P&C Insurance domain understanding / past working experience Understanding of Subrogation process will be an add-on
Soft Skills
- excellent verbal and written communication
- Strong Technical Inquisitiveness – should be a self-starter and have an urge to get to the root of the problems to resolve them.
- Ability to keep focused on assigned tasks and drive them to completion and ensure the rest of the team is doing the same.
- Effective presentation, and collaboration skills
- Good analytical, and consultative skills
- Strong Team player and mentor (depending upon the level of experience)
Qualifications: Education Requirements
BE/B. Tech/MCA graduate
Work Experience Requirements
At least 12+ years of experience in development role
