We are currently seeking to employ a Business Support Manager to our team based in Wellington. In this role, you will :you will lead a multidisciplinary team supporting distribution operations, maximising efficiency and productivity. Oversee strategic projects, drive continuous improvements, and foster strong internal partnerships.

The successful candidates will work on key responsibilities like:
- Develop and implement strategies to drive growth, efficiency, and process improvement.
- Oversee operations, including HQSE, IT, fleet, procurement, subcontractors, training, and facilities.
- Lead and mentor a support team, fostering collaboration and excellence.
- Manage budgets, resource allocation, and special projects, ensuring KPI-driven decision-making.
- Build relationships with stakeholders and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Implement and maintain health and safety policies, conduct risk assessments, and promote a safety-first culture.
- Ensure staff and subcontractor training, equipment readiness, and adherence to safety standards.
- Investigate incidents, enforce corrective actions, and stay updated on health and safety legislation.
Qualifications and Skills
To be considered, you will have:
- Preferred experience managing large, multisite operations.
- Proven success in business growth, system implementation, and process innovation.
- Expertise in technical, high-transaction environments.
- Strong leadership across diverse operational teams.
- Knowledge of industry trends and sales/marketing experience.
- Tertiary qualification related to Engineering or Business.
- Business or marketing studies preferred.
