This role undertakes a range of activities including planning and coordination of all rural compliance monitoring, analysing and interpreting data, communicating effectively with key organisations and stakeholders, compliance reporting, Arc GIS spatial mapping, complaint response, advice and provision of information. To provide effective, efficient and proactive business support to the Rural Compliance team. We are looking for someone who shows a passionate and supportive team culture.

Mō te tangata | About you
We are seeking an experienced administration person with excellent accuracy and attention to detail. This full-time role requires someone who can multi-task and effectively manage time and priorities. Some of the tasks this role undertakes include:
- Provide high level business support to the Rural Compliance team, including transcribing & typing services.
- Plan and coordinate a range of compliance monitoring.
- Analyse data to produce detailed monthly and quarterly reports.
- Report monthly on team performance data.
- Produce detailed power point presentations or communication material for the Team Leader – Rural Compliance.
- Proficient user of IRIS Reporting Portal and all reports relating to Rural Compliance monitoring.
- Work with the Business Solutions team to identify and implement ideas in IRIS for continuous improvement of processes and reports related to Rural Compliance monitoring.
Mō ngā pūkenga | Qualifications and experience
- Relevant tertiary qualification e.g. Diploma in Business Administration (Level 5) or equivalent business environment (1-2 years)
- At least 1-2 years’ experience in a support specialist or similar role, with experience in process management, analysing/interpreting data and business intelligence reporting (BI).
- Excellent communication skills – written and verbal.
- Demonstrate sound knowledge of regulatory operations, including an understanding of consenting processes.
- Demonstrate good organisation skills including time management, prioritising, and forward planning skills.
- Experience working with plans and documents that guide and inform decision making.
- Proven success at building relationships and resolving issues with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strategic and tactical thinking skills.
- Demonstrate good analytical skills and an eye for detail.
- Excellent understanding and working knowledge of IRIS.
- Political awareness and skill in dealing with sensitive and confidential issues (including bi-cultural sensitivity).
- Ability to work autonomously as well as being part of a team.
