At VILA, we are looking for a dedicated intern who wants to gain insight into the entire buying process. You will be part of an international community with close collaboration across departments and have the opportunity to work on many tasks - from idea to finished product.
YOUR TEAM
We develop eight main collections annually, all based on the latest trends and colours, aimed at the commercial end consumer. In this role, you will work with with different product groups. We are driven by creating results and collections that capture the essence of quality, detail, and sustainability – always with our finger on the pulse of the newest trends. You will work closely with colleagues from Buying, Design, Pattern, and Sales – as well as our sourcing offices – to ensure the strongest collections.
YOUR ROLE
As an intern, you will be part of the Buying team and get to work with a wide range of tasks spanning from the first ideas to the finished product. Along the way, you will also handle administrative tasks that are essential to our team’s success. Your tasks will include:
- Participating in collection meetings
- Steaming and preparing collections
- Creating style cards
- Communicating across the organisation and with our international suppliers
- Following up on samples and deliveries
- Commenting on styles in relation to colours and details
- Helping on ad hoc task across buying & design

YOUR PROFILE
We imagine you are a student of Design & Business or Marketing Management with an elective in procurement - and have a passion for fashion. You thrive in a high-paced, dynamic workday where you collaborate with many different stakeholders. With determination and a positive attitude, you take on your tasks with dedication.
We are looking for someone who brings the following qualifications to the job:
- Numerical and communication skills
- A structured approach to your tasks and ability to meet deadlines
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
