Panel Saw Operator / Shop Labourer (Millwork Shop)

About the Role

We’re hiring an experienced Panel Saw Operator for a busy custom millwork shop. This is a production-based role where the majority of the day is spent operating a manual sliding table saw to accurately break down sheet goods for cabinet and millwork production.

This role requires hands-on experience with a slide saw (industrial table saw). CNC-only experience is not sufficient. The ideal candidate understands manual setup, precision cutting, and following cut lists without relying on full automation.

Experience on an Altendorf sliding table saw or similar is a strong asset.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a manual sliding table / panel saw safely and accurately

• Break down sheet goods to precise dimensions

• Read and follow cut lists and measurements

• Apply part labels/tracking stickers as required

• Maintain a clean and safe saw station

• Assist with general shop labour and material handling as needed

What We’re Looking For

Required

• 1–2+ years experience operating a manual sliding table saw

• Experience in a cabinet shop or millwork environment

• Ability to follow cut lists and measure accurately

• Comfortable in a fast-paced production shop

• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented

• Able to lift 50+ lbs and stand for long periods

Assets

• Experience with Altendorf or similar slide saws

• Forklift experience

• General woodshop or shop labour experience

Schedule & Pay

• Monday to Friday

• Day shift

• $20–$28/hour, depending on experience

• Immediate start available
