Cad Drafter / Alta Specialist

Grant Shepherd & Associates, Inc. is seeking a CAD Drafter / ALTA Specialist to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone with experience in land surveying drafting who is detail-oriented and eager to work on a variety of projects including ALTA/NSPS Surveys, boundary surveys, topographic surveys, final plats, and as-built drawings.

The ideal candidate will have experience bridging field survey data with office drafting and interpreting title commitments. However, we are open to training motivated candidates who are eager to learn and grow in the surveying field.

- Review project requirements in accordance with the 2026 Minimum Standard Detail Requirements for ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys

- Coordinate with field crews to ensure accurate data collection

- Draft surveys in CAD based on surveyor field data

- Interpret and incorporate title commitments into survey drawings

- Prepare final plats in accordance with municipal requirements

- Assist with as-built drawings and revisions

- Track project schedules and deadlines

- Communicate with clients regarding project status, timelines, and expectations
