As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Technician to join our team.

Role Overview:
The successful candidate will be responsible for producing accurate CAD drawings for both customer approval and internal production purposes. You will play a key role in ensuring design accuracy and supporting efficient manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare CAD drawings for customer approval using SolidWorks.
• Create detailed production drawings based on approved designs.
• Prepare nesting files for CNC Laser and CNC Punch machines to optimise material usage.
• Liaise with the sales, production, and design teams to ensure all drawings meet specifications and customer requirements.
• Update and maintain drawing records and files in accordance with company standards.
• Assist in improving drawing and nesting processes for increased efficiency.

Requirements:

• Proficient in SolidWorks (essential).
• Experience creating both approval drawings and production drawings.
• Experience with CNC nesting for Laser and Punch machines.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to interpret technical specifications.
• Good communication skills for dealing with internal teams and customers.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Desirable:

• Experience in aluminium or sheet metal manufacturing.
• Knowledge of other CAD/CAM software.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From €35,000.00 per year
