Overview:

Erneside Engineering Ltd are seeking a skilled CAD Technician to join our engineering department in Lissarda. This role involves producing 3D models and 2D drawings to support our design concepts & workshop fabrication. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with 2D AutoCad, AutoDesk Revit and Autodesk Inventor, along with a strong understanding of engineering principles.

Key Responsibilities:

Produce detailed 3D models in AutoDesk Revit & Autodesk Inventor for preliminary design work & fabrication.

Create and modify 2D drawings including site layouts and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).

Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure accurate and timely drawing outputs.

Interpret technical information & site information, and incorporate it into models and drawings as required.

Participate in occasional site visits to gather information or verify existing conditions.

Maintain drawing documentation and comply with project-specific BIM protocols.

Utilize Navisworks for model coordination and clash detection when necessary.

Key Requirements:

Proficiency in AutoDesk Revit, AutoDesk Inventor & 2D AutoCAD.

Relevant industry experience, ideally in mechanical & building services engineering.

Familiarity with Building Information Modelling (BIM) processes and tools, including Navisworks.

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Location & Work Schedule:

The role is office-based in Lissarda, 5 days a week.

Occasional travel for site visits may be required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: €30,000.00-€45,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Lissardagh, CO. Cork: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
