Solutions is an ISO 9001 specialist supplier of smart, sustainable electrical systems, working across commercial offices, pharma and data centre projects in Ireland and Europe. We supply and support contractors with steel containment, modular wiring, lighting controls, power distribution and prefabricated electrical assemblies.

We are now seeking a CAD Technician with electrical experience to join our growing technical and project support team.

Role Overview

The CAD Technician will work with our engineering, prefab and project delivery teams to produce accurate drawings, layouts and technical documentation for electrical systems. This role is ideal for someone with electrical knowledge who wants to grow in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce 2D CAD drawings for electrical containment, modular wiring and prefabricated assemblies
• Assist with coordination drawings for lighting, power and containment layouts
• Update drawings throughout project lifecycle and manage revision control
• Support project teams with technical documentation and drawing packages
• Ensure drawings meet industry standards and project specifications
• Liaise with engineers, project managers and contractors where required

Requirements:

• Experience using AutoCAD (Revit is an advantage but not essential)
• Electrical industry background — contracting, design, or building services
• Understanding of electrical layouts, containment routes, cable sizing (basic)
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work to deadlines
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
