We’re looking for a fierce and friendly Front of House barista to join our diverse & vibrant team and become part of the ATCO family. ATCO Energy operates two lines of business comprising its Energy and Home Services division and the Blue Flame Kitchen. We like to call ourselves the A-Team!

This role is for the Blue Flame Kitchen. Days and hours are business dependent, but the hours of operation are Monday thru Friday 7 am – 3 pm.

Reporting to the Café Chef, the Front of House (FOH) BFK Café team member will be delighting our guests on a daily basis. Responsible for taking customer orders and payment and to make every customer experience memorable to keep them coming back for more. Café operational hours are Monday to Friday from 8am to 3pm. Blue Flame Kitchen Café employees are provided with required work attire, receive complimentary parking, beverages & staff meal with an excellent work-life balance. We offer competitive wages of $17 - $19 hourly rate.

On a daily basis, you’ll...

• Greet customers and take customer orders.

• Answer customer questions about our products.

• Process customer payments.

• Bring your best barista skills by making amazing specialty coffee drinks

• Re-stock refrigerators, shelves, and displays.

• Maintain a clean and orderly dining area.

• Perform other related duties as assigned by the manager.

• Maintain personal hygiene and wellness.

• Responsible for closing and opening duties within the Café.

• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.

What you’re great at:

• Outstanding customer service and bringing your best self to work

• Being quick on your feet to meet the needs of our customers

• Open to learning our POS system and coffee program

What you have:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• 1-2 years’ experience in restaurant/cafe environment.

• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

• Attention to detail.

• Ability to perform duties quickly and under pressure

• Honesty, integrity, and ethical behavior
